Sri Anegudde Vinayaka Temple in Kumbashi village, Karnataka. This is the place where Lord Ganesha gave a sword to Bheema to fight with demon. Devotees wishes are fulfilled by the Lord without fail. Anegudde is the combination of two words - 'Aane' means 'Elephant' and 'Gudde', which stands for 'hillock' as it is the abode of the elephant headed to Lord Vinayaka. Pray for his blessing before starting on any project, relief for removal of obstacles in marriage,diseases. As per the legend, Bhimasena also killed Kumbhasura at the same place with a weapon given by Lord Ganesha. Thus, a temple was established here to honor the lord and was named as Anegudde. It serves as one of the 'Mukti Sthalas' of Karnataka. Auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi and Sankastha Chaturthi are celebrated in the temple with great enthusiasm and a car festival also held in the month of December with huge fervor.Devotees offer prayers with the combined blessing bestowed with enormous wealth, peace, harmony and never ending prosperity, eliminating all bad and evil effects and negativeness from planetary positioning, free from disease and bad bondage's. Lord Ganapathi is responsible for the Mooladara chakra and therefore enlightens the spiritual mind which enables one to become conscious of the higher realms of existence.
