Kadu Malleshwara Temple is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in Karanataka, Bangalore. The temple has a traditional South Indian style, with features of five-tier architecture, with delightful entrance called 'Rajagopuram. 'The temple was built in 17th century. In the year 1997 during some construction process near the temple the workers found another temple of ' Nandi'(A statue of bull which is called the vehicle of Lord Shiva) buried. As they further dug out the temple, a small pool of water was found inside the temple and even the Nandi was ejecting clean water from its mouth which flows to the Shiva linga. However the source of water for both of them is yet unknown.y. The highlight of architecture is, all the avatars of Lord Vishnu is lined up in the sequence, of incarnation as in the epic, showing the elaborate carvings and colourful art work, at the entrance of the main sanctum, symbolizing the universe and nirvana (a place of perfect peace and happiness). Devotees offer prayers with the combined blessing bestowed with enormous wealth, peace, harmony and never ending prosperity, eliminating all bad and evil effects and negativeness from planetary positioning, disease free life and bondages.
