The Viswaroopa Adhivyadhihara Sri Bhaktha Anjaneya Temple at Nanganallur Chennai is a famous Hindu Temple dedicated to God Hanuman. The idol of Lord Hanuman is 32 feet tall and sculpted in single piece of granite. It is very gigantic look of Hanuman, this temple is known for bestowing health and mental peace to devotees. The idol is believed to have a special powerand it's considered a healer. The main deity Anjaneya is facing west and the main entrance is on the west and the large covered space for devotees to assemble in front of the Lord for offering worship.
In the North-West corner, a full-fledged Sannidhi for Sri Rama (Kothanda Rama) is built and here he has been taken dwell with Sita and Lakshmanan with Anjaneya. Rarely in this temple, there is Lord Krishna Sannidhi on South West direction along with Rukmani and sathyabama all facing east.
This is to show devotees that among the Gods it was only Anjaneya who was present in both the epics Ramayana and Mahabaratha (in the flag of Arjuna's Chariot as designed by Lord Krishna to save it from the destruction of the oponents). Saint Ragavendra has been abode facing Krishna; Vinayaka is in East and to his left Naga is established.
