Bagalamukhi Devi Temple is located in Thirunelveli, Tamilnadu. The Presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Bagalamukhi. As per legacy says, Satwa guna form of manifestation is found in Goddess Matangi, Goddess Bhuvaneshwari, Goddess Tripurasundari, Goddess Mahalakshmi forms. This denotes the greatest lesson to the universe to save dharma from unwanted speech and mind wandering. Goddess Bagalamukhi is depicted with the head of the crane, waits to catch the prey, denotes the super-natural powers bestowed by the Goddess destroys all the evil spirits and the enemy. Sometimes she also appears with canard-head or with a nose of a parrot. Which means she can change colours to bad people depending upon the situation and destroy them. The head of a bird denotes stabilization, means positive of stable life during neck movement. Like-wise it stabilizes our life with our positive thoughts and action. Goddess Bagalamukhi bestows us with profound goodness, solves all legal problems, clearing our obstacles in a business relationship, removes the ill-effects of the planet Mars, protect us from enemies, put enemies to silence from predominance. The planet of mars represents self-esteem, self-respect, power of strength.

Goddess Bagalamukhi is also called as Shatrubuddhivinashini or Brahmastra Roopini a sense of courage and simplification turning all bad to good, wrong to right, weak to strong. The queen on the golden throne resides in the midst of Turmeric Ocean in her yellow attire shows colour of sunshine, joy, happiness, intelligent and energetic.
