This Shaktipeeth is situated at Jalandhar in Punjab. Sati's left breast fell here. Here Sati is called Tripur Malini and Lord Shiva is called Bhishan. The city of Jalandhar is located at Hawrah-Amritsar main line of Indian railways. A fair is held at Navratri festival every year.

As a result, Sati's body was cut into pieces that scattered on earth and each of these portions of the earth that received these pieces were blessed and honoured and are known as Shakti Peethas. Mata Tripurmalini Mandir marks the spot that received Maa Sati's left breast.

  • Do not encourage beggars at Temple.
