Udupi Krishna Temple is an acclaimed Hindu sanctuary
committed to Lord Krishna. The Krishna Mutt was established by the Shri
Madhvacharya , a Vaishnavite example of piety in the thirteenth century. The
matha range is a living ashram for day by day commitment and living. Udupi
Krishna Temple is situated in the heavenly town of Udupi in Karnataka.
The surprising feature of Udupi Krishna Temple is
that the statue confronts west, and far from the aficionados. The purpose
behind this, evidently, is that a lower-standing enthusiast named Kanakadasa
was denied passage into the Udupi Krishna Temple, so he took a stab at
worshiping from a little window outside it. The Lord was so satisfied at his
dedication that he turned around to face the window.
