Lakshmi Narasimahar Temple is located at Narasingapuram, Tamilnadu. The temple has two entrance, one in the south and other in the east direction. The sub shrine of Lord Hanuman is found outside the temple facing the tower. Speciality of the temple is Lord Anjaneyar is his tail is twirled back on to his head. Presiding deity of the temple is Lord Narasimhar facing east direction. In this temple, Lord Appears with four hands in a sitting posture with Goddess Mahalakshmi in the lap. The Lord Perumal is huge and gigantic, the Idol of Lord Narasimhar is about seven feet in height.
Goddess Mahalakshmi Thaayar and Lord Narasimha are seen embracing each others, referred to as Paraspara Alinganam Posture. Hence, the Lord is referred to as Kalyana Lakshmi Narasimhar. Speciality of the temple is Goddess Thayar is seen Pacifying and cooling the angry Lord and hence her face is turned towards the Lord. Since the Lord is seen here as a Shantha Swaroopi, Goddess Thaayar has taken the opportunity to tuen her attention to the devotess and blesses them. The temple is considered to Prarthana Sthalam and is said to free the devotees disease, Naga Dhosha and Bad debts. Lord Garuda here is about four feet hight and is seen here with sixteen of snakes around him.
