Thiruchendur Muruga temple is an ancient temple located in Tamil Nadu. The temple is one of the six Arupadaiveedu temples of Lord Muruga. The temple has a traditional South Indian style, with features of architecture, with delightful entrance called 'Rajagopuram'. Early the temple was known as Jayantipuram. Before the main sanctorum, in the first corridor, there are shrines, caves and temples dedicated towards his consorts Goddess Vali and Goddess Deivanai, local hunter king Dattatreya and Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu along with Lord Natarajar, Lord Kashi Vishwanath and Lord Shankar Narayan.
